Who We Are

What We Do

Our founders created YNI with the mission of exposing Yale students to consulting for socially-minded enterprise.

Net Impact is an international organization with over 30,000 members and 300 chapters worldwide that focuses on bridging the gap between the business world and the social sector. Our undergraduate chapter provides a platform for Yale students to work on management consulting projects and to join entrepreneurial and socially-minded special initiatives that vary from semester to semester.

Net Impact's consulting projects are professional, in-depth efforts that provide lasting value to our clients.

Every semester, we launch four consulting projects providing innovative business solutions for our socially-minded clients – start-ups, nonprofits, and large firms alike.

Our consulting projects are rigorous and in-depth efforts consisting of group members, a project leader, a senior adviser, and a School of Management advisor that work throughout the semester to deliver results to our clients.

Our special initiatives are opportunities to develop Yale's social entrepreneurship space, to work with socially-minded groups around campus, and to pilot an original socially-minded venture. Past special initiatives have included partnerships with Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, Hult Prize, the Up to Us campaign, the ThinkSocial speaker series, the Net Impact Color run, and more.
